SSC has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission and requirements.
SSC's Security Management Services program is to provide DHS airports, program offices, staff offices and various operating locations
with the capability to obtain management and technical security services in an efficient and timely manner with the final goals
of maintaining the security of our homeland and the protection of our population. The anticipated support correlates
with, but is not limited to, the following objectives:
- Analysis of intelligence information and the synthesis of information from other government agencies designed to disrupt terrorist activity;
- Security of commercial and private aviation transportation terminals and public areas;
- Security of airports and commercial carriers, to include passenger, cargo and baggage screening operations;
- Stress Management and Conflict Resolution;
- Security preparedness for emergencies and the appropriate response, to include reaction to chemical, biological and radiological terrorist attacks;
- Security management services, including the operation of a security information management center, and security personnel training;
- Performance Measurement and Organizational Effectiveness,
- Quality Assurance/Verify and Validate.
